1. Camtasia
Many people will have heard of Camtasia but their more recent version 7.1 is even more user friendly with a number of great video tutorials to get you on your way.

Debut Video Recording Software will save the new video file to your hard drive as AVI, WMV, and includes many other file types. It’s also possible to grab a snapshot (video still) from a video recording and save it to JPEG. Debut is meant to be very user friendly and gives you the ability to record just about anything from:
